Trustees to hold fall meeting Sept. 11-12 in Portland

The Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon will hold its quarterly meeting Sept. 11-12 in the event space of the White Stag Block on the Portland campus.

Board members will hear reports on university financial projections, presidential goals for the upcoming year, the university sister cities program, the annual university research report, proposed updates to university governing documents and the student conduct code, and the annual internal audit report and plan review.

Other agenda items include standing reports, a report on impacts of a recent Supreme Court decision on affirmative action, an update from the athletics department, a presentation on state and regional dynamics by John Tapogna, a senior policy advisor at economic firm ECONorthwest, and an executive session on collective bargaining.

The meeting’s agenda and materials are available in the upcoming meetings section of the board website. Meetings will begin at 9 a.m. both days.

Those wishing to provide comments in writing can submit them at trustees@uoregon.edu. Written comments will be shared with all trustees, but to ensure comments are sent prior to the meeting they must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8.
