Updated Dining Guidance The UO has updated its guidance about how to safely eat while on campus. Dining outside is the best option. However, the UO face covering regulation does allow individuals to unmask when actively eating and drinking in appropriate places. Eating and drinking is not allowed in classrooms, labs, work areas where toxic materials are stored, or areas with preexisting rules prohibitions. Read the full dining guidance.
What happens if I test positive for COVID-19? Who is the Corona Corps?
Students and employees who have tested positive or think they have been exposed to COVID-19 should complete the case and contact form. This form activates the UO Case Management Team. The UO Case Management Team provides support and basic resources for cases and close contacts in the UO Community. They have protocols for isolation, cleaning, accommodation, and notifications.
As part of the UO Case Management Team, the Corona Corps helps students with resources including food, housing, health care, financial assistance, mental health supports, and academic accommodations.
COVID-19 Cases
UO: There were 57 members of the UO community who tested positive or were considered presumptive positive in the last seven days (October 4-10).
How to replace a vaccine card: If you were vaccinated in Oregon, submit an Adult Record Request through OHA. If you received your vaccination out of state, the CDC recommends contacting your state health department's immunization information system; your info should be added to that registry when you get vaccinated.
Tip: Once you receive a replacement, take a picture of your card. This way, if it is misplaced or lost, you can use the photo as proof of vaccination.
Symptom Self-Check: Before coming to campus, perform a symptom self-check. Pay attention to anything you are experiencing outside your baseline (what is normal for you). The COVID-19 symptom self-check tool is available on the University of Oregon mobile app. Download the app from the iTunes store or Google Play.
Prevention: The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to the virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention outline some general precautions to minimize the spread of respiratory diseases.
