Student athletes step out of an art class and into a hospital room to help a victim of the Umpqua Community College tragedy.
The Resource Assistance for Rural Environments AmeriCorps program is recognized for economic revitalization in small town across Oregon.
A grant from the Sloan Foundation will provide continued support for research conducted at the UO’s Biology and the Built Environment Center.
The win comes with a $10,000 prize and gives the team the chance to compete for an additional $100,000 to advance their project.
