The April 25 talk is this year’s Climate Change and Indigenous Peoples Lecture.
The Dean’s Double Duck Award offers $12,500 toward tuition in the two-year program.
The plan will allow honors students to earn both degrees in six years instead of the usual seven.
Federal appeals judges Diarmuid O’Scannlain, Alfred Goodwin and Edward Leavy will hear three cases beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Duncan Campbell Auditorium.
Panelists will talk about ideas for reversing the trend toward crowded classrooms, fewer teachers and reduced opportunities in Oregon public schools.
