The Blackboard learning management system will sunset Sunday, Jan. 31. Canvas replaces Blackboard as the University of Oregon’s learning management system.

The decision to switch to Canvas was made at the request of UO faculty. Canvas was selected on the basis of extensive testing and the assessment of data from multiple pilots.

The UO Libraries Center for Media and Educational Technologies offers its thanks to all faculty members, GTFs, and staff members who have helped make the transition a smooth and successful one.
