Financial Stewardship Institute calls for project ideas

Employees with ideas for research and analysis projects that can benefit the University of Oregon can now send proposals to the Financial Stewardship Institute.

Institute participants will work on project teams and partner with a project sponsor. They will provide free consulting to colleagues on campus and present their findings at a capstone session in February.

Examples of past projects include analyzing different types of ID cards, researching strategic purchasing opportunities and developing a program for managing abandoned bicycles.

Employees can work with their department head or director to submit a project idea online by Nov. 22. Proposals should include a project title, a contact person and sponsor, a one- to two-paragraph description and a goal for the project team.
