LTD asks UO employees about future transit investments

University of Oregon employees have the opportunity to voice their opinions about Eugene-area transit options through a survey offered by Point2Point, a division of Lane Transit District.

Point2Point’s annual survey helps the district understand how people travel and gauge awareness and satisfaction with the current transportation program offerings.

The survey is a part of Oregon Department of Transportation’s statewide transportation options plan, which encourages education and resources for people looking to take the bus, bike, walk, share rides and telecommute.

Survey feedback informs the LTD and Oregon Department of Transportation’s plans for future program investments in the Eugene community.

The majority of transportation options currently offered to UO employees, including Emergency Ride Home and the ride-matching software DriveLessConnect, are provided by Point2Point from funds allocated by ODOT as a part of the Transportation Options Plan.

The survey is available online and closes Feb. 23. Survey participants may enter a prize drawing to win a $100 Amazon gift card.
