Open enrollment coming in October; now is the time to review options

Open enrollment for health insurance benefits begins Oct. 1, and the UO human resources office is reminding employees it’s time to start getting familiar with plan options.

Open enrollment, which is when employees sign up for or renew their health insurance policies, begins Oct. 1 and runs through the end of the month. Over the next 60 days, both the UO and the Public Employees Benefits Board will be sending out reminders and information.

The first step is to review current policy information by logging onto the PEBB website. Then employees can review their 2016 plan options here.

Employees also should review information on the Health Engagement Model program. The Health Engagement Model rewards employees for actions taken to improve health, such as engaging in an exercise program.

Watch for emails providing additional information.
