Submissions now being accepted for the annual OUTList

University of Oregon students, faculty, staff and alumni who wish to be included on the 2018–19 OUTList have until 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, to sign up online.

The OUTList contains the names of Ducks who wish to publicly acknowledge and celebrate that they are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, aromantic, agender or allies, who are known by the acronym LGBTQIA-plus.

The list will appear in the form of an advertisement placed in the Daily Emerald during the second week of October to correspond with National Coming Out Day and the UO’s Coming Out Week.

To kick off Coming Out Week, the LGBTQA3 Alliance student group and LGBT Education and Support Services will present a festival Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 1–5 p.m. in the Erb Memorial Union Green. In addition to food and games, pop-up drag performances and figure drawing will be offered beginning at 3 p.m.
