UO Board of Trustees to hold quarterly meeting June 5-6

The Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon will hold its next quarterly meeting June 5-6 in the Lee Barlow Giustina Ballroom of the Ford Alumni Center on the Eugene campus.

The meeting’s agenda and materials will be available in the meetings section of the board website. Meetings will begin at 9 a.m. on both days.

Board members will take action and hear updates on items including the upcoming fiscal year’s budget; the Romania property lease agreement, football practice facility management, and heritage project authorization; acquisition of the Oregon Research Institute facility; and board leadership elections.

Other agenda items include standing reports; an overview of the College of Design; an executive session for collective bargaining; and updates on plans for east campus housing, the Hispanic Serving Institution Initiative, the Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact, the Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health, cybersecurity and federal affairs activities.

Those wishing to provide comments in writing can submit them at trustees@uoregon.edu. Written comments will be shared with all trustees, but to ensure comments are sent prior to the meeting they must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, June 2.
