UO’s Early Childhood CARES program hosts holiday giving program

The University of Oregon’s Early Childhood CARES program is collecting gifts for its annual holiday giving program through Monday, Dec. 9.

Tags with gift suggestions are available at the Clinical Services Building in the hallway outside the Child's Garden classroom (first floor, Room 147C) and also at the Early Childhood CARES main office at 299 E. 18th Ave. There is a $25 limit per child.

Unwrapped gifts with tags attached may be returned to the Early Childhood CARES main office or the Child's Garden Classroom.

The Early Childhood CARES program provides children with early intervention and childhood special education services each year. It was created in 1992 as an outreach unit through the UO’s College of Education. It is funded by the Oregon Department of Education with both state and federal money.
