Willamalane seeks child care input from UO families by April 15

Willamalane Parks and Recreation District has launched an informational survey for University of Oregon employees with children aged 3 to 5. Employees who are interested in enrolling their child or children in the Willamalane expanded preschool program in 2024-25 should complete the survey by April 15.

Last summer, the UO reached an agreement with Willamalane to provide 40 dedicated preschool spots for UO employee families by fall 2024.

This survey will help Willamalane understand the type of care that UO employee families need. Securing a preschool spot is not dependent on completing the survey.

UO’s arrangement with Willamalane is funded by the Childcare Community Partnership Investment Fund administered by representatives of the university and United Academics. The fund provides one-time financial support to local organizations establishing or expanding child care services, in exchange for guaranteed spots for UO employee families.
