Roesler, Crockett Earn Regional Academic Honors

Oregon track and field’s Laura Roesler and Lauren Crockett were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, Thursday.

Roesler, a senior from Fargo, N.D., is the most decorated student-athlete in Oregon history having earned 15 All-American honors and four NCAA Championships throughout her career. Roesler is the 2014 NCAA Indoor Champion in the 800 as well as a three-time Pac-12 Champion in the event. This year, she currently holds the fastest time in the NCAA.

Roesler has a 3.54 GPA while majoring in psychology and was named the 2014 Pac-12 Scholar Athlete, May 17.

Lauren Crockett is a junior high jumper from Ogden, Utah who holds a 3.54 GPA while pursuing a degree in advertising. Crockett set a PR earlier this season by clearing a height of 6-0.5 at the Oregon Preview which ranks seventh in the nation this season. She was also a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention as a sophomore.
