Two sidewalks in the core of the University of Oregon campus will be closed and replaced during spring break, potentially affecting users of Friendly, Allen, Lawrence, Johnson, Hendricks and Gerlinger halls.
The main, north-south sidewalk on the west side of Friendly Hall, from 13th Avenue on the south to Allen Hall on the north will be affected, along with the sidewalk on the west side of University Street between Johnson Lane and the Gerlinger Hall driveway circle.
There will be no entrance into Friendly Hall from the west side during construction, but people will be allowed to exit from the building on that side. Signs and barricades will be posted.
No building entrances will be affected by the work along University Street, but pedestrian traffic will need to reroute. Signs and barricades will be posted.
