Meeting set for Aug. 31 on campus IT restructuring process

A proposed implementation strategy and set of guiding principles for the university’s information technology restructuring process will be the subject of a campus town hall meeting.

Jessie Minton, vice provost for Information Services and chief information officer, will host the meeting on Thursday, Aug. 31. It will run from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Knight Library Browsing Room. A videoconference link to UO’s Portland campus will be provided in room 149 of the White Stag Block.

The draft, “Transform IT Principles and Implementation 2017,” is currently available on the Transform IT website, which also has more information about the campus IT restructuring process. The campus community is invited to send comments to cio@uoregon.edu by 5 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 30.
