Tuesday event focuses on options to get to and around campus

Students and others trying to figure out the best way to get to and around campus can have their questions answered at UO Transportation Day on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

The UO community is invited to come learn about walking, busing, biking and shuttling around Eugene, get help with route planning and learn how to get a free Lane Transit District bus pass from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the lawn between Condon and Chapman halls across East 13th Avenue from Lillis Hall.

Participants will have the opportunity to register their bikes and get free minor bike repairs, bike lights, reflective stickers and more. They can also fill out a UO Transportation Day Passport to win more prizes, such as a waterproof backpack, bike lights or waterproof bike seat covers.

The UO Bike Program, UO Student Sustainability Center, UO Transportation Services and LiveMove host UO Transportation Day annually.
