Volunteers sought for spring and summer meets at Hayward Field

University of Oregon employees can immerse themselves in the track and field action by volunteering for a variety of athletic events taking place at Hayward Field on the Eugene campus.

The four events are:

  • The Prefontaine Classic, May 25.
  • NCAA Outdoor Championships, June 5-8.
  • Nike Outdoor Nationals, June 12-15.
  • U.S Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field, June 21-30.

Positions span a range of skills including medical services, awards, retail and transportation. Interested individuals can visit the TrackTown USA website to learn more or to sign up. Some athlete services positions are available in Portland.

Employees should get permission from their supervisor before committing to any shifts that could conflict with their regular work schedule.
