A new Policy Advisory Council will hold its first meeting Feb. 2 and advise the president on the review process.

Oxford human rights scholar Hugo Slim will address the students and campus community in a talk Tuesday, Jan. 27.

As work progresses on the new building, interior floors and ceilings are being installed along with portions of The Hearth.

The next in the series of presentations will take place Jan. 29 at the White Stag building in Portland.

The governor also spoke of the role of state government and his own political roots during the visit at the UO School of Law.
